SV	Toen zeide Joab: Ik zal hier bij u alzo niet vertoeven; en hij nam drie pijlen, en stak ze in Absaloms hart, daar hij nog levend was in het midden van den eik.
WLC	וַיֹּ֣אמֶר יֹואָ֔ב לֹא־כֵ֖ן אֹחִ֣ילָה לְפָנֶ֑יךָ וַיִּקַּח֩ שְׁלֹשָׁ֨ה שְׁבָטִ֜ים בְּכַפֹּ֗ו וַיִּתְקָעֵם֙ בְּלֵ֣ב אַבְשָׁלֹ֔ום עֹודֶ֥נּוּ חַ֖י בְּלֵ֥ב הָאֵלָֽה׃
Trans.	wayyō’mer ywō’āḇ lō’-ḵēn ’ōḥîlâ ləfāneyḵā wayyiqq^aḥ šəlōšâ šəḇāṭîm bəḵapwō wayyiṯəqā‘ēm bəlēḇ ’aḇəšālwōm ‘wōḏennû ḥay bəlēḇ hā’ēlâ:

AC	יד ויאמר יואב לא כן אחילה לפניך ויקח שלשה שבטים בכפו ויתקעם בלב אבשלום--עודנו חי בלב האלה
ASV	Then said Joab, I may not tarry thus with thee. And he took three darts in his hand, and thrust them through the heart of Absalom, while he was yet alive in the midst of the oak.
BE	Then Joab said, I would have made it safe for you. And he took three spears in his hand, and put them through Absalom's heart, while he was still living, in the branches of the tree.
Darby	Then said Joab, I may not tarry thus with thee. And he took three spears in his hand, and thrust them into Absalom's body, while he was yet alive in the midst of the terebinth.
ELB05	Da sprach Joab: Ich mag nicht also vor dir warten. Und er nahm drei Spieße in seine Hand und stieß sie in das Herz Absaloms, während er noch inmitten der Terebinthe lebte.
LSG	Joab dit: Je ne m'arrêterai pas auprès de toi! Et il prit en main trois javelots, et les enfonça dans le coeur d'Absalom encore plein de vie au milieu du térébinthe.
Sch	Joab sprach: ich kann nicht so lange bei dir verziehen! Und er nahm drei Spieße in seine Hand und stieß sie Absalom ins Herz, da er noch lebend an der Eiche hing.
